Time is just flying. Big events this year. 2010 will be the last year for Tara in elementary school since she will be starting 5th grade in the fall as she turns 10. Q will be turning 5 and starting kindergarten. I just can't wait to see what adventures he will be getting into at school - as you know...he is my curious Q! My little Seira is not so little anymore as she is off and running now. Nods and shakes her head when you ask her questions, loves to whisper in your ear and loves to say "NO." She is quite a fan of her papa - she loves to wait for him to come through the door when he comes home from work, laughing, yelling and clapping as she finally sees him after a long day with me and Q. Aaron and I are still doing the "apartments thing" and hopefully will get through this economic craze ok. We're praying that 2010 brings good health and happiness to all our friends and family. Happy New Year to you all.

Silverman Triathlon
Nevada held its annual Silverman Triathlon here in Henderson. Tara's teacher, Ms. French, was a participant. This was her first ever triathlon and she did excellent. She came in 7th place for women that did the half distance finishing with an astonishing 6 hours 20 minutes. Our family came out to cheer and volunteer and to encourage the other triathletes. It was an amazing day! It was amazing because I saw my daughter's eyes light up with excitement as she cheered on her teacher and the other athletes. Tara was so awesome. She stood there and gave drinks and help pick up the cups that the athletes dropped. It is so great to see her be so involved and have so much fun doing it.

Tara's Halloween School Party
Tara's class had their halloween party. It was filled with games and activities. Caramel apples, sack race, pumpkin painting, mummy wrapping contest.... I am fortunate to be able to spend the time with her, but of course, had to have the other two babies in tow. It was lots of fun.
St. George, Utah
We decided to go on a day trip in October. We wanted to check out St. George, Utah. It was a short hour and a half trip but we ended up staying the night. The big event was having the pancakes at Cracker Barrel. It's our number one choice for pancakes since trying it. It beat out the IHOP in Los Angeles, 6th Street and Vermont. Their syrup was awesome all natural maple and cane! We loved it. And to make the trip more enjoyable - their country store was awesome. Lots of toys and homemade gifts (my favorite!!!!!). We will be visiting there again since the Dinosaur Museum was closed. Q was soooooooo disappointed. Seira found a Raggedy Ann doll she loved - she just wouldn't part with her.
Happy Halloween!!!!
Well we survived the Halloween event. Tons and tons of candy and lots of dress up fun. This year Tara decided we were going to put together her costume. She decided to be a punkrocker - torn up clothes, colored hair, mixmatched colors, guitar hero guitar and she even got to paint her nails different colors. She definitely had waaaaaaay more fun with this costume than she did last year. Q wanted to be ninja again except he also wanted to color his hair - the orange color came out so cool. Seira was just happy to be with Q and Tara but we decided to dress her up for fun. She was a little horsie this year. When she has her costume on - she would not move when I put her down. I don't know why - but it was the funniest thing - she would move her eyes but she wouldn't budge. It was lots of fun!!!!
